Subtitle Mistakes

I, of course, get import DVDs of my favorite animes. Since Inuyasha (犬夜叉) is being slowly (and I mean slowly) translated in English (and I can't stand English dubs), I get imports. So far I have the three movies and over a 100 episodes, with more coming in the mail. I've had some hilarious subtitle mistakes and I'll post some of them that I thought were funneh. =D

Series: Inuyasha

Subtitle Number One!All of you Sesshoumaru fangirls out there will kill me if they saw this. But of course, knowing you people, you want to see it. XD It's one of the greatest subtitle mistakes that every lived. Jaken was describing, at the beginning of the episode, about Sesshoumaru. He announces (in the real translation), "The great prince youkai, Sesshoumaru-sama". But instead says, "The great princess youkui, Sesshoumaru-sama". XD

Subtile Mistake 002Our poor Shippou is going through a frightening experience in this filler episode of Inuyasha. This is where Myouga's fiancee` comes and starts controlling the Inuyasha crew. When Inuyasha suddenly comes on to Shippou, in a very funny manner (I love how Kappei Yamaguchi does it! XD "Don't worry, I'll be gentle" etc.). Shippou was screaming, "Noo! I'm too young! Stop!" etc. but instead screamed, "I have my wife." O_O

Kagome! What language! From episode 98, Kagome gets in a fight with Inuyasha. Instead of screaming, "Inuyasha you idiot (Inuyasha anno baka!)" They translated it as "Inuyasha, you boob!" O_O Woah...Kagome, you have a dirty mind there. XD

More to come...guranteed. Especially the first Inuyasha movie. One quote: "Eat my metallic teeth!"
