Learn SmartFTP

As of now, it will be a requirement as a hostee to learn to use FTP past the date of August 10, 2004. Here's a way how!

1). Download SmartFTP from it's site at smartftp.com

2). Open up SmartFTP and you'll get this window (click to enlarge):

Put down the address as your site URL. A domain would be like yoursite.com/ and a subdomain would be yoursite.com/subdomain. Write down your username and password and click the computer screen on the far left in the toolbar that says, "Connect."

3). You will soon get a screen that shows all the files etc. Find your correct folder.

4). Then go to Commands>>Upload>>Direct>>Select File. Click the screencapture to understand:

5). A window will popup. Select your file and click open:

And there we go! You're all done. :) Pretty, simple huh?
